BODY & SOUL
They have been dedicated to those dance floor smashing beats their audience loves them for, but Body & Soul also keep crossing musical (and mental) borders, experimenting with different musical genres and throwing in new sounds to create something just a little different from your usual Drum & Bass anthem. The duo has become known for their immensely versatile and unprecedented sounds that wow their fans and attract new audiences everywhere they go.
After apprenticing at the infamous Bad Company Presents label, the duo branched out into different side projects and engaged in independent music productions and various musical fields in order to further refine their craft. Rob and Mike finally teamed up again in 2008 and launched their own imprint – Nasca Records – focusing solely on Drum & Bass again. The immediate results of their reunion were a number of high profile productions and remixes on BreakBeat Kaos, Viper and Virus Recordings.
The duo has also come a long way with their DJ- sets. Starting out as young, local artists in Austria, they have now already travelled the world. Body & Soul have been booked in most European countries and played at the Winter Music Conference in Miami twice. So watch out for these two in 2010 – there is more body and soul ahead!
